Adult Hockey ClassesThe Adult Intermediate and Advanced Hockey Classes are a series of 8 Week Progressive Classes for ages 13+ who are interested in developing hockey skills with the goal of playing in the in-house youth or in the adult hockey league - The RHL (Rink Exchange Hockey League) at the Novice (C) Level.
Intermediate Curriculum You’re not quite ready for the adult league, this is where the Adult Intermediate Curriculum comes in. Here, we’ll continue honing your hockey techniques, focusing on skating, passing, shooting, and stickhandling. Additionally, we’ll challenge players by incorporating small area games to reinforce their skills. Advanced Curriculum If you’re still feeling a bit uneasy about joining the adult league, don’t worry—we’ve got you covered with our Advanced Curriculum. This class is designed to prepare you for that exciting first game! During these sessions, we’ll continue to review fundamental hockey techniques, including skating, stickhandling, passing, and shooting. Plus, we’ll incorporate additional small area games to reinforce your skills. Get ready to hit the ice with confidence! Each class takes place once a week for one (1) hour. Players should complete the Beginner Hockey Class before the Intermediate or Advanced Classes Gear rental is available on a first come first serve basis. Do I need to bring anything else?
For many players in the area, they are the only one of their friends outside of the rink who plays hockey. For anyone starting a new sport, doing so with a friend drastically improves the experience and encourages them to stick with whatever new activity they are trying.
We would ask that if you have a friend or relative who might like to give our sport a try, please feel free to share the information here with anyone who you think may want to hop on the ice with us.
