As we approach the Spring Thaw for 2013, we thought we would share some of the moments during our hibernation over the past two years. In addition to the improvements to your home pictured above, our Rink has gone through some other changes listed below. Crazy. How time flies. More great things to come during the Spring Thaw of 2013. Thanks for all of your support!
Natural Gas Compressor Repairs and Upgrades (Powers our clean burning Zamboni's)
Two New Water Heaters (Makes better ice with hot water)
Hot Water Mixing Valve (Found we needed to cool our shower water with the new water heaters)
New Shower Heads (No more leaks)
Major Repairs to both zamboni's
New Motor for the Cooling Tower
Programed VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) for the Cooling Tower. Saves energy.
New Water Bottle Fillers at both water fountains for both locker rooms
New Skate Sharpening Jig (means you skate better, actually means we sharpen them better)
Rebuilt both compressors (means they actually work efficiently now)
Repairs to locker room heating units
New rubber flooring in locker room 1, hallways, bathroom B and player benches
Painted every wall on the interior of the building (quite literally)
Upgraded our automated control systems (for lights, compressors, heating units, and dehumidifier)
Leveled the kick plates so ice would build evenly (eventhough the floor is uneven)
Raised Zam door threshold (no more antarctic cravasse)
Schedules posted electonically with locker room assignments
And lots more...
