What we collect and where: newsletter signups through Mailchimp (email, first name, interests); our website contact form (name, email, phone, message); program registrations and payments through LeagueApps; Road Trip Cafe purchases through Square; staff and scheduling information through Frontline; basic website analytics through Google Analytics 4 (GA4); and video from on-site security cameras.
Security cameras: For safety and security, The Rink Exchange uses video cameras in public areas of the facility, such as entrances, the lobby, the rink and the parking areas. Cameras are never placed in locker rooms, restrooms or changing areas. Footage is stored on our own on-site system, recorded locally and not in a vendor cloud, kept for about 60 days unless it’s needed for an incident, and viewed only by authorized rink administrators. We may share footage with law enforcement or our insurer, or when required by law. We do not use it for marketing. Cameras record video only, no audio.

How we use it: replying to messages, registrations, and rink news by email.

Sharing: we don’t sell personal information. Service providers (Mailchimp, LeagueApps, Square) process it for us.

Email: every email has an unsubscribe link and our mailing address.

Kids: the site isn’t meant for children under 13 to sign up themselves; parents register their kids. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (COPPA).
